St. Luke’s Home Health is available for all ages, whether you need help with your newborn, have a long-term illness, are disabled, or you’ve just had surgery. Speech therapists specialize in the evaluations and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. Speech therapists also work in coordination with health care professional to achieve the maximum potential for the client. We serve 20 counties from locations in Meridian, Hailey, McCall, and Twin Falls. Services are provided seven days a week, including holidays, and are on-call 24 hours a day.

Our Staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to help you and your loved ones deal with the non-medical, personal care challenges you face. Care plans are customized to meet the individual needs of each client.
Wound care nurses treat patients who have both acute and chronic wounds, including burns, pressure ulcers and surgical incisions that have not healed. Our nurses not only support healing, but they also provide preventative care to ensure infection does not set in and that other complications do not arise. In addition to their hands-on role, they also play a crucial teaching role, educating patients how to care for their wounds after they return home. To be eligible for the HCBS waiver, applicants must be aged 65 and over, Idaho residents, U.S. citizens and have a neurocognitive disorder that prevents them from functioning normally. The applicant must also have an income on or below the program's limits, which as of 2021 stand at $1,482 for an individual and $2,004 for a couple. For those who successfully apply, the waiver can meet some or all of their memory care medical costs but not their room and board fees.

Generally, Medicare and/or Medicaid will cover the cost of home health services for those patients who meet either program’s eligibility requirements. Private insurance companies, managed care organizations, and workers’ compensation plans may also pay for home health services. Under the direct supervision of the referring physician, our highly skilled home care professionals deliver quality, compassionate care. We also include families and caregivers in the care process, offering valuable information, guidance and – most of all – support.
